About Us

The United Boys and Girls Clubs of Santa Barbara County (UBGC) serves 5,000 area youth annually. We provide services to 7 different clubs, including 2 school based sites spanning Lompoc to Carpinteria. We have been a presence in this region for over 83 years.

Our mission is to enable all young people, especially those who need us most to reach their full potential as productive, caring and responsible citizens. Our goals are to break the inequity and enable every child an opportunity to become who they were meant to be that results in greater communal good. Members develop a strong sense of belonging through connections they establish with staff and peers. Staff members make the club feel like home.

With your help, we can ensure children and teens most in need can rely on a safe environment to experience educational enrichment, sports, arts, and most importantly, the mentoring and support they need to succeed throughout their lives.
